My wife and I want you to know how pleased we were with your services when you moved our household belongings in January.
Quite honestly, when she mentioned to me that Cherokee was a fairly new company, I had some reservations about entrusting the move to you. However, we were very impressed by your professional bearing and the timely way in which you gave us quotes for three possible types of services.
Furthermore, on moving day, despite the fact that we were not as prepared for the move as we should have been, your men carried out their work with speed, tact and good humor. This was especially appreciated at a time when my wife, my children who were assisting us and I were under considerable stress and anxiety.
Finally, I reserve my final compliment for your amazing skill in packing so much of our goods and chattels into the moving van.
I have no hesitation in recommending Cherokee to my colleagues at the Detroit News, where I was science and technology reporter for almost 20 years. Editors and reporters are frequently leaving the News for other parts of the country or being transferred to member newspapers in the parent company, Gannett Co, the largest newspaper chain in the U.S. And they would surely appreciate the kind of service that Cherokee is able to deliver.

Whew!!! What a pleasurable experience my move last Monday was. After twenty-one years in my Waterford home, I was very apprehensive and stressed to the max. You assured me that your men would take care of everything but still, I was very nervous.
My move to Davisburg went without a hitch. Your men, Kenny, Derrick and Andy were terrific. They moved non-stop from the moment they arrived (right on time, I might mention), until the last box was unloaded. I couldn't have moved my things with more care. They didn't put a single mark on the walls or the furniture. Everything was handled with such care, almost as if it were their own property. What a crew! You should be very proud of them. And, the move was less than your estimate.

Dear Fred,
It is not often that I am in the position of writing a letter like this, although it would be nice if circumstances dictated making it a daily occurrence.
I spoke to you on the phone about moving household items. You were a delight to deal with. Not only were you pleasant, but very thorough and professional. The documentation you provided was informative and complete.
On the day of the move, (February 29, 2000), your truck arrived at precisely the appointed time. It was clean and apparently well equipped for the task at hand. The two men, Gerald and Aaron, introduced themselves and quite frankly, I was surprised that they were so young. Any apprehension present was quickly dismissed as they began their task of moving my belongings. Both men were impressive in the way they did their job. Not only were they fast, but extremely diligent and careful in the handling of all items. They worked non-stop. There seemed to be no wasted motion. They functioned like a team, neither taking advantage of the other.
As a local business owner with 25 employees, their effort and professionalism did not go unnoticed. If I were in a business where either Aaron or Gerald fit the job description, I would not hesitate to employ them.
Any moves in the future will certainly include your company and hopefully Aaron and Gerald.

I am writing to thank your men for making my move on February 28, 2001 the best experience I have ever had with any moving company ever!
The men were very professional, courteous, funny, and very careful with all of my belongings. They wrapped all my furniture and were very careful of not hitting the walls and marring my furniture. At any time if I asked them to put an item in a certain place they were very courteous about it even though they may have to take it upstairs instead of down. Having movers with great personalities made the experience much more relaxed, as moving, whether we realize it or not, is very stressful.
The amount of time it took to move all of my belongings was worth what I paid. Three men was much faster than two. Instead of an all day ordeal it was over within just a few short hours. They only took a couple of short breaks and their lunch then they were back to work, which was much different from other moving companies that I have hired and I greatly appreciate it.
I would recommend your company to anyone. If I move again, I will be calling your company and if possible requesting the same men.

The purpose of this communication is to express our appreciation to you and your crew for an efficient and incident-free move from R.O. to this area on 7/22/02.
The crew of 3 men who performed the move worked quickly but carefully and the result was a move with no damage to our possessions. The men were extremely polite and I was impressed how they handled both the heavy and delicate items with due care. When complete, the cost to us was very competitive and reasonable. So pleased was I with the crew that I gave them extra money for lunch.
Before closing, I should also recognize the lady who takes phone calls for the friendly and efficient way in which she represents your company.
One final comment is that we had originally scheduled another firm to move us, but when they began talk about changing the charges (even after an in-house estimate), I quickly concluded that I should make another choice. Without much to go on except for a Yellow Pages add, I selected Cherokee, and I am happy for that decision.
